Proudest accomplishment outside of science: Driving across the country from California to Maryland with my senior dog! We stopped along Nevada, Wyoming, Nebraska, Mississippi, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
Favorite things about Los Angeles: the art museum and the Culver City lapidary club! I’m still exploring the city since I’ve moved here and I know there’s plenty of gems I haven’t experienced yet.
